This is it! Today I (Vivian) will try my last wake up tea and will rank them from 1-5! This week, we wanted to see which teas were the best at waking us up and keeping us up, so I decided to try out a few of my favorites as a little experiment. The plan was the drink tea by 9:30am and then rate my energy levels at 10am, noon, and 2pm. Here is the last post! (Sorry for this being 2 days late! Studying got the best of us).
Wake Up Week is 2 days away from being over! As finals are coming up next week for us, we wanted to test out different teas to see which would wake us up the best, and keep us awake and alert for all the studying we need to do. In the beginning half of this week I (Vivian) tried a black tea, a mate tea, and a green tea. I drank the tea by 9:30am and rated my energy levels at 10am, noon, and 2pm. Here is today's pick. (Please excuse the weird lighting from the sun this morning!)
This week we are trying to see which teas help wake us up and prepare us for a long day of studying (or whatever else you might need energy for). So far, in first place is Masala Chai from Peet's (read about it here) and second is a Mate blend from Teavana (read about it here). Today, I (Vivian) will be drinking my favorite green tea. This is the plan: Drink tea by 9:30am, rate my energy levels at 10am, noon, and 2pm. Here we go again!
Hello! This week we wanted to see which tea does the best job of waking us up to study. Each day this week (Monday - Friday), I (Vivian) will try a different tea, finish it by 9:30am, and rate my energy levels at 10am, noon, and 2pm. Yesterday I tried a Mate blend from Teavana (click here to see the post), which seemed to work pretty well. Let's see if Chai does the trick!
Good Morning! This week, we wanted to run a little experiment to see which teas are the best to drink if you want to feel awake and alert. Finals are coming up and that means business. I (Vivian), personally don't like coffee for my caffeine fix because it gives me headaches and makes me 10 times crazier than I am on a normal basis, and no one wants to see that. Instead, I turn to tea, to keep my energy at a normal and socially acceptable level.
Every day this week (Monday - Friday) I will try a different tea and rate my energy levels at different times. This is the plan (let's hope I wake up early enough to stick to it): Drink tea by 9:30am. Rate my energy at 10am, noon, and 2pm (hopefully avoiding lunch food coma time). Easy, right? Here we go!

Yay! Our first tea review!
This is a find from an integrative pharmacy, a lovely fruity herbal trio. Initially attracted to it by it's packaging, we are overall pleased with the quality of the tea.
